My Favorite Equestrian Inspired Home Decorations

I don’t tend to like the over stylized, western, “typical” horse type decorations.

However, there are a few, more subtle type decorations that I am head over heels for. I show them here.

1. The simple and elegant horse bit curtain holder

This is so great, I can’t even believe it. The subtle elegance, yet practicality is so beautiful. And with white curtains the medium brown leather, it really pops. However, I think I would prefer a deep, dark brown leather strap, instead. The whole combination is so fresh, clean and simple yet traditional. I love it.

2. Stirrup Book Ends

This decoration is simple and subtle. And frankly, I think I would use actually stirrups, rather than buying a stirrup inspired decoration. I would really enjoy the authenticity of having actual pieces of tack as my decorations. It adds character and charm.

3. Entry Way

I like these entry ways using retired saddles, bridles, crops, boots and blown up images as stylish decor. The worn leather of the saddles add charm and tradition to the rooms decor. It adds character and stories waiting to be told.
